Permits for the Desolation Wilderness are available from:

Wrights Lake Information Station
Wrights Lake Information Station is not open yet. Information will be posted at the start of the 2024 season.
This Station is located in the Wrights Lake Campground 8 miles north of Highway 50 on Wrights Lake Road
